We’re Hiring: Event Producer

 

Music Victoria is looking for an experienced Event Producer to bring to life the 2022 Music Victoria Awards ceremony. Running since 2005, the annual Awards program is our chance to capture, celebrate and reward the great music that has been made here in the past year. Locked in to take place in a new venue, the Event Producer will be responsible for delivering the ceremony as well as the associated pre and post show events and supporting the realisation of the new strategy for the overarching awards program. The successful candidate will have experience in running complex events, a curatorial eye, empathy with the goals and philosophy of Music Victoria and the significance of the Awards, and a strong connection to the Victorian music community.

 

KEY INFORMATION

Primary location: Music Victoria Office – 35 Johnston St, Collingwood and some WFH.
Reporting to: Music Victoria General Manager
Direct Reports: Project Coordinator and Contractors as required
Working with: All Music Victoria Staff
Position type: Flexible between 3 days and full-time, short-term 5 month contract.
Salary details: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum pro-rata + super (based on experience).
Employment Contract: September 2022 – January 2023
