Music Market Co-Work is located on the lower ground level and is accessible via a ramp.

Music Market Event Space is located on the upper ground level, accessible via a ramp or lift.

 

COLLINGWOOD YARDS & SURROUNDING AREA

The Collingwood Yards precinct is made up of three multi-story buildings, which house a range of creative tenants, with buildings connected via courtyards and open outdoor spaces.

Please note that the footpaths surrounding Collingwood Yards are uneven and offer little access for mobility devices between curb side and the footpath.

There is also ongoing construction work happening on Johnston Street, towards Bedford Street. This has intermittent impact on access to the footpath along Johnston Street.

GETTING TO MUSIC MARKET CO-WORK

Music Market Co-work is located on the lower ground level and is accessible via a ramp. While the entrance doors do not open automatically, there is a doorbell for access.

There is an accessible all gender bathroom located on the same level.

Best entry is via the ‘Art Deco’ entrance on Johnston Street (perpendicular to Budd Street). This will bring you into a courtyard where you then turn left and follow the ramp down to Music Market.

Entry is also available via the driveway on Johnston Street, in between The Tote and Keith Harring Mural. Turn into the driveway, then go right to follow the ramp up to Music Market.

Music Market Co-Work entrance is at the yellow tinted windows.

GETTING TO MUSIC MARKET EVENT SPACES

Music Market event spaces are located on the upper ground level and are accessible from Johnston Street Via a ramp or lift.

The stage and green room area are accessible via a ramp.

There are also accessible and ambulant all gender bathrooms on this level.

Best entry is via the ‘Art Deco’ entrance on Johnston Street (perpendicular to Budd Street). This will bring you into a courtyard where you can take the lift or stairs to upper ground, then turn right into Music Market.

Entry is also available from the Johnston Street entrance under the Collingwood Yards Arrow; this entrance has cobblestone flooring.

Use the ramp to enter the building and music market is at the end of the corridor.

TRANSPORT & ACCESS

TRAIN

The nearest station is Victoria Park. Victoria Park Station is approximately 700 metres from Collingwood Yards. Victoria Park Station is elevated and access to the platforms is either via a ramp or lift.

Victoria Park is on the Hurstbridge and Mernda Lines.

TRAM

The nearest Tram stop is Stop #19 on Route 86, at the corner of Johnston Street and Smith Street.

Stop #19 is approximately 300 metres from Collingwood Yards. Route 86 is partly serviced by accessible trams, however some of Route 86 Trams have high floors and are not wheelchair accessible. Please visit the Tramtracker app or website for up-to-date schedule information http://tramtracker.com.au

BUS

The nearest Bus stop is at the corner of Johnston Street and Smith Street on Routes 200, 207 and Night Bus Route 966.

The corner of Johnston Street and Smith Street is approximately 300 metres from Collingwood Yards.

Most busses are accessible either with low-floors or ramps (driver assisted) – To find out if the buses at your stop are accessible, call 1800 800 007, or contact your local bus operator.

PARKING

Collingwood Yards offers a single accessible parking bay, located in the entryway via 35C Johnston Street vehicle entrance.

There are numerous secure and street parking options in the area. Two-hour FREE parking is available on Johnston Street (North of the precinct). Four-hour FREE parking is available on Perry Street (South-side of the precinct). All day PAID parking options are available on Wellington Street.

DROP-OFF

For drop-off arrival by car, best footpath access is via the driveway on Johnston Street, in between The Tote and Keith Harring Mural.

Johnston Street curb side does not allow for easy access to footpath.

Please note that the vehicle gate is open between 8am and 5pm for pick-up and drop-off for the general public.

BIKES

A bike path runs along Wellington Street, near the Eastern boundary of Collingwood Yards.

Bike racks are located in the lower courtyard area and near the Perry Street Lift. Please ensure you secure your bike.
